INTEGRATION TYPE: Native
INTEGRATION SYNC: 2-way
The Rivly integration with Amazon is an extensive, native connection that is established with 3rd party seller central accounts. It provides several useful features that can make selling on Rivly easy if you are already selling your products on Amazon. In summary, you can import your listings, set up inventory sync, and have your Rivly orders fulfilled by Amazon.
Amazon Product Listing Importer
Whether you have 100 products or 100,000 products, Rivly has built an amazing listing importer that can bring over your listings from Amazon and set them up in Rivly with little to no effort on your part. Since the Rivly marketplace is structured a little differently from any other marketplace, our importer will help to adapt some of those changes as the products are imported.
Here are a few notes to keep in mind with the import process:
- imports can take up to 3 days (or longer depending on the size of the product catalog)
- you will receive an email notification when the import is complete
- the results of your import will only be seen in your product list after the entire import is complete
- only new SKUs that are not already present in Rivly will be imported
- if a certain barcode already exists in your Rivly product list, another product in Amazon with the same barcode will not be imported
- if you have more than 1 listing per ASIN (e.g. FBA and FBM listing for 1 ASIN), Rivly will only import 1 listing which will preferentially be the most recent FBA one
- listings that are set to FBA in Amazon will be automatically set to be fulfilled by Amazon in Rivly (though this can easily be changed at any time)
- products with the following details will NOT be imported:
- CDs & Vinyl or Movies & TV categories
- collectibles
- any USED items since Rivly only allows the sale of new and unused items
To review the results of your most recent import along with outcomes for each listing, you can go to the Integrations page and click on the Amazon card to be shown an option to "Download Previous Results."
Amazon FBA Inventory Sync
For all listings in Rivly that are set to be fulfilled by Amazon, Rivly will automatically track and sync your Amazon FBA stock quantities. For this to happen in a particular listing, your Rivly SKU must be an exact match for the Amazon SKU. Additionally, Rivly has a final verification in place before customer checkout to prevent the sale of any quantity that does not have appropriate stock available at Amazon.
Amazon FBM Inventory Sync (coming soon)
For all listings in Rivly that were imported from Amazon and fulfilled by merchant (FBM), you have the option to keep your FBM stock levels in sync with your Rivly stock levels. When a sale happens on Rivly, we send a request to Amazon to update your stock to the new level. When stock levels change in your Amazon account, the stock levels are updated soon after so your Rivly stock levels match. Please note that while we attempt to keep stock updated as frequently as possible throughout the day with listings fulfilled by merchant (seller), there is a risk that you may oversell an item on either channel before the other had a chance to update. In these rare circumstances, you can easily cancel the order in your Rivly seller portal.
Rivly Order Fulfillment by Amazon (Multi-Channel Fulfillment)
When your listing is set to be fulfilled by Amazon, any order that is received on Rivly for that item will have its details automatically sent to Amazon for their multi-channel fulfillment program, where we will also specify standard or expedited (express) shipping as needed. Please note: the Rivly SKU must match the Amazon SKU exactly for the correct item to ship.
In turn, Amazon will provide Rivly with the tracking number of the package once available which we will provide to the Rivly shopper so they are always informed as to the progress of their order.
Rivly Returns to Amazon Fulfillment Warehouses (coming soon)
As a seller on Rivly who chooses to use Amazon to fulfill their orders, you have the option to either set your returns to be mailed back to a fulfillment warehouse designated by Amazon so your item may be potentially placed back into sellable stock (default setting), or you may designate any other address to receive all of your returns. Additionally, you can also set specific return reasons that you'd rather the shopper keep the item instead of incurring the cost of return shipping. All of these options are available on the Return Settings page.
