A seller account application on Rivly can not be approved for a variety of reason, but the most common ones are as follows:
- Business is not US-based business and/or is missing an Employer Identification Number (EIN). If you are a sole proprietor, you must have an EIN for your business as we do not accept Social Security Numbers (SSN) for business registration.
- US owner(s) with SSN (no ITINs) must own the majority of company according to your annual tax returns
- Business must ship items within 2 business days of order placement. This will exclude many print-on-demand products unless this metric can be reliably met.
- All items must ship to the customer from within the US and deliver within 7 days of order placement.
- Product list contains prohibited products such as alcohol, tobacco, firearms, CBD, personalized, customized, or digital products that we are not permitted to sell on Rivly at this time
- Products were deemed by the Rivly team to not be a good fit for our customers
- Business does not have a reputation online for providing outstanding customer service
