Question
I received an email with a Rivly shopper request asking to get certain products on the marketplace. What is this? Is this a legitimate email from Rivly?
Answer
If you received an email from us regarding a Rivly shopper request, it is a legitimate email from us.
We're constantly striving to build our catalog and we want to supply shoppers with what they're looking for.
So, when shoppers use our Product Request feature or perform searches for specific items where we don't have enough selection yet for the shopper to feel like they can adequately compare options, we reach out to brand owners of those types of products to let them know there is active interest on our marketplace. In some cases, it can include generalized shopper feedback themes we see across a certain product category (e.g., requests for more variety).
If you'd no longer like to receive any of these emails, you can reply "Stop" at any time or reach out to us directly here in our help center.
Otherwise, you can learn more about Rivly at sell.rivly.com, and there's even a quick explainer video near the top.
