At this time, items for sale on Rivly are only available to be shipped to the continental US, Alaska, or Hawaii. We do not allow shipments to other US territories and freely associated states (coming soon) or internationally to foreign countries.
Delivery Speed & Customer Rates
STANDARD SHIPPING
All prices seen on Rivly must include free standard shipping which is expected delivery in 3-5 business days for orders within the continental US. Customers with deliveries to Hawaii or Alaska will incur a shipping fee of $7.99 per seller plus $1.99 per item fee to help cover the increased shipping cost to those states and and they expect delivery in 3-7 business days.
EXPRESS SHIPPING
Sellers have the option for each listing to offer upgraded express shipping which is expected delivery in 1-3 days. Currently, this express option is only available for integrated 3PLs but a seller-filled express qualification program is coming in the future. More listings that offer express shipping will increase the seller service score that impacts product ranking on Rivly.
The customer cost for an express shipping upgrade is uniformly set at $1.99 per item for deliveries in the continental US. Orders being mailed to Alaska and Hawaii do not have express shipping available at this time. Sellers will undoubtedly experience variability in the actual cost of the express shipping upgrade due to a variety of factors that will average out with volume, but it is important to create a uniform experience for shoppers and analysis of prevailing rates for most packages show an average of approximately $2.00 increase in cost for express shipping over standard shipping. Keep in mind that a seller may choose not to offer express shipping if it does not make sense for their product (oversized, bulky items, etc.)

*Sellers may choose to use media mail in place of standard shipping for qualified items (typically books, music, and video media).
Handling Time
Handling time on Rivly refers to the number of business days it takes from the time an order moves into unshipped status (payment successfully collected from the shopper) to the time that a shipment is confirmed in Rivly with carrier and tracking information.
It's important for sellers to have an accurate handling time listed on each of their items for sale so that we can give shoppers proper expectations and a reasonable estimate for the date of delivery. Additionally, shorter handling times and faster delivery is well known to increase shopper conversion and sales.
In your seller fulfillment settings, you can set a default handling time (days) that applies to all of your products. However, you also have the option to set a SKU-level override if you would like to set a different handling time other than the default for a particular product.
Handling time settings range from 0 days to 5 days max. Handling days are by default Monday to Friday (business days), but sellers have the option to enable Saturday or Sunday handling if they'd like to show even faster delivery estimated to maximize sales.
A setting of 0 days is the fastest handling time which is same-day handling. Sellers must ship all items that move into unshipped status before 2pm local time (seller sets time zone) by the end of the same business day. Orders after 2pm must be shipped by the end of the next business day.
While we allow a maximum setting of 5 handling days (meant mostly for print-on demand sellers), we strongly encourage sellers to ship within the normal 1-2 business days expected in ecommerce and the default setting for all seller accounts on creation is 1 business day.
